Information on the London Shogi Club, shogi events in or near London, and occasional other stuff. Shogi is Japanese chess, and the key way it differs from regular chess is that when you take your opponent pieces, you keep them, and can 'drop' them back on the board later. It's pretty popular in Japan so you often see it in anime and Japanese art, but it's not very well known in the UK.

Probably no March 2016 meeting
We do not expect there to be a meeting of the London Shogi Club in March as Saturday 26th is in the middle of the Easter holiday.
However, it's always possible that players may arrange to meet up - at least one is will be in London.
