Online prize tournament for players going to the 2024 European Shogi Championship

The 10th Shogi Wars Kishin Tournament, is being played online, and will be focused on Europe this year, with initial prizes in the form of travel subsidies to the ESC/WOSC in Barcelona and further prizes in a competition during that event.

The tournament will be played on the Shogi Wars App and is open to all residents of European countries.

The qualification tournament will take place on July 21st, 12:00 - 14:00 UTC.

The final tournament will take place on August 2nd in Barcelona during the ESC/WOSC.

London July 2024 meeting will be on 28.07.2024

There will be a meeting of the London Shogi Club on Sunday 28.07.2024. We hold these meetings monthly where possible, normally on the last Saturday or Sunday of the month. Always check to see if we are meeting, and which day we are meeting on.

We are currently playing in the basement room at Starbucks on Cowcross St, Farringdon. Do check downstairs, as you won't see anyone upstairs. There should be someone around from 11.00am until at least 2pm. If for some reason the basement room is shut, we might go to Costa, which is on Cowcross St but in the opposite direction from Starbucks.

Everyone is very welcome, regardless of strength or experience.

The nearest tube station is Farringdon. Barbican station is also close. It's best to check which lines are running with Transport for London.
