There will be a Saturday meeting of the London Shogi Club on 28.11.2015. Steven Cain will be getting there between 11am and 11.30am, and there should be someone around until at least 2pm at Caffe Nero, 10 Bedford Street, London WC2E 7HE.
Everyone is very welcome, regardless of strength or experience.
The nearest rail station is Charing Cross. Embankment, Covent Garden and Leicester Square underground stations are close, but it's best to check which lines are running with Transport for London.

At the moment there are no plans for a December meeting - most players will be busy or away during the holiday break. Caffe Nero is also very crowded during the Christmas season. But if players are interested, let us know and we'll see if we can arrange something.

If anybody would like a T shirt or a hoodie to show their pride in or solidarity with the British Shogi Federation or the London Shogi Club, they can be ordered online for the next 2 weeks at

The BSF design is also available in a ladies T, long sleeve and sweatshirt.
At the end of two weeks, they will be printed and despatched, as long as enough have been ordered. We only need 5 orders for a design to be printed, so we don't think we'll have any trouble.
